Fotomac report Super Lig club Mediol Basaksehir are interested in signing Leicester City striker Islam Slimani in this summer transfer window.
The Algerian international has now left Fenerbahce after his loan spell ended and he’s looking for a new club.
Slimani was loaned to Fener from the Foxes last summer but scored just one Super Lig goal last season. He finished the campaign training with their reserves.
According to Fotomac, the Turkish club are already in transfer talks with Leicester City over a potential loan move and are confident of getting a deal done.
Olympiacos were reportedly interested in the Leicester City man but they’ve moved on to other targets.
Basaksehir finished last season in 2nd place and are now looking to qualify for the Champions League group stages.
The club’s current senior forwards, Emmanuel Adebayor and Demba Ba, are expected to leave the club so Basaksehir will be in the market for a No.9 for next season.
