Fotospor report Besiktas have identified Claudio Bravo as a primary target after holding talks with his agent, but face competition from Arsenal.
The 37 year old will become a free agent at the end of the season and he’s previously been linked with a move to Besiktas, but reports at that time suggested the club’s manager Sergen Yalcin wasn’t keen to sign him because of his age.
It’s also reported Arsenal have made an offer to Bravo to become their backup goalkeeper for next season, but the Chilean has rejected it because wants to play regularly.
However, the situation may now have changed, with Arsenal’s No.1 Bernd Leno set for a long spell on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
Fotospor say Besiktas could offer Bravo regular playing time and both sides will discuss the details in the coming days.
The former Barcelona and Real Sociedad goalkeeper has made 16 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side this season in all competitions, keeping four clean sheets.
