Fotomac report Galatasaray have identified Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy as a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
After reports this week Stoke City are not looking to loan Badou Ndiaye back to Galatasaray for next season, it seems the Turkish side are looking to replace the Senegal international and Leicester City‘s Mendy is an option.
Ndiaye re-signed for Gala last summer on loan from Stoke City but the Potters are looking to offload the 28 year old on a permanent deal.
It’s reported Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has also given the green light to sign Mendy, as the Galatasaray boss reportedly thinks he could be a great transfer for the Turkish club.
According to Fotomac, the 26-year old is a relative of former Galatasaray striker Bafe Gomis and the Super Lig club could use the Frenchman to convince the Leicester City player over a move to Istanbul.
Mendy has played 29 Premier League games for the foxes this season and is under contract with the Premier League club until June 2020.
