Fotomac claim Besiktas have identified Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper John Ruddy as a replacement for Liverpool loanee Loris Karius.
The 33 year old has been on the books at Wolves since 2017 when he arrived from Norwich City but in the past two seasons he’s been back up to the club’s first-choice goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
According to Fotomac, Ruddy is an option for Besiktas and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season this makes him an ideal candidate. The Turkish club are looking for cheaper options ahead of the next transfer window due to their financial situation.
Besiktas have also been linked with Burnley’s Joe Hart and Manchester City’s Claudio Bravo in recent months.
At this stage of his career Ruddy could relish the chance to become a first choice again and Fotomac report talks between the two sides are ongoing.
Ruddy has made six appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this season which all came in the cup competitions.
