After parting ways with Bibras Natcho, Greek website Sdna.Gr claims Olympiacos are interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Claudio Yacob.
The Greek giants have announced the Israeli midfielder will be leaving and Sdna say they are now in the market to replace him, with Yacob seemingly an option.
Along with the Argentine, it’s reported AS Monaco’s Pele is also on Olympiacos’ shortlist, after the player spent the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
It’s claimed Olympiacos manager Pedro Martins will soon decide which midfielder he will bring in to replace Natcho as he plans for next season.
Yacob made a name for himself in England during his spell with West Bromwich Albion and the player joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer last summer after the Baggies were relegated from the Premier League.
However, the 31 year old struggled to get games for the Championship side and made just six league appearances.
He’s under contract at the City Ground until June 2020.
