Turkish newspaper Takvim report Trabzonspor have identified Manchester City’s Ante Palaversa as a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish side are looking for options to replace former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, who left the club last month after terminating his contract due to the Covid-19 crisis.
It’s reported Karadeniz Firtinasi are looking to make a loan offer to Manchester City for the 19 year old in the summer.
Takvim claim another option for Trabzonspor would be Frank Boya, who’s currently playing for Mouscron in Belgium. Aston Villa’s Marvelous Nakamba has also been linked with a move to the Super Lig club in recent days.
City paid €6.3m to sign Palaversa in 2019 when he was playing for Hajduk Split, and the player joined Belgian side KV Oostende on a loan deal last summer.
Palaversa has made 20 appearances for the Jupiler League club. His contract with Manchester City will expire at the end of June 2023.
