Negotiations between Everton and Paris Saint Germain over a second loan deal for Moise Kean are ‘progressing in the right direction’.
That’s according to journalist Saber Desfarges, who says the Italian striker only wants a return to Paris this summer.
Kean spent last season on loan at the Parisian giants after an unsuccessful first year at Goodison Park following a move from Juventus.
He went on to become a key player for PSG during his time at the club, scoring seventeen goals in 41 games in all competitions in a loan spell that very much got his career back on track.
PSG are keen to keep him, and he wants to stay, but it all depends on Everton, who have made it clear they will only let the striker go on their terms.
It appears the two clubs are in active negotiations, though, with Desfarges reporting that talks over a second loan deal are going in the right direction
He doesn’t offer the nature of these talks, or the deal, just that the Italian international wants ‘more than anything’ to play in Paris next season, and PSG is his ‘first and only’ wish this summer.
That is probably a major bonus for the French club, who are seemingly about to get themselves another good deal for Kean.
Another loan deal makes little sense for Everton, although perhaps this deal will include a purchase obligation or some set of fees to make it more attractive to those in charge at Goodison Park.
