It seems that Ryan Mmaee could be on his way out of Stoke City after just one year at the club.
According to a report today from L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, the 26-year-old is wanted by Al-Kholood.
It’s said that the Saudi Arabian side have ‘taken steps’ to take from Stoke City this summer.
There isn’t, however, any information on how much is being demanded by the Potters or how much Al-Kholood are putting on the table for now.
Last summer, Stoke City found Mmaee in Hungary, and bought him from Ferencvárosi TC in a €4m deal.
Things didn’t go great in his firsts season at the Championship side, though, with him staying out of the team for long sequences. That’s why he only managed four goals and four assists in 27 games in his first year.
It now remains to be seen how much Stoke City are demanding to let him go so soon, as he’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €2.8m, and there’s still two more years on his contract with them.
