Arsenal right-back Héctor Bellerín has emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona, and this has been discussed in the Catalan media over the past two days.
Sport first came out with a report stating the Barca technical secretary has held talks with the Gunners sporting director, Edu, to ask about the conditions for signing the 25-year-old.
On Thursday, Mundo Deportivo explained the La Liga side can only sign the Spaniard if they find a ‘good buyer’ for Nélson Semedo.
This has been backed up journalist Miguel Rico in today’s edition of the Mundo Deportivo, and he also provides information about the competition Barca will face to complete his signing.
Rico states it’s an ‘irrefutable fact’ that the defender is on the Blaugrana’s transfer list.
The Spanish side’s idea is to sell Semedo and invest part of the money from his sale to sign the north London club’s fullback.
According to the claims, Ronald Koeman’s side ‘do not want to pay’ in excess of €20-25m for Bellerín.
Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Mikel Arteta’s right-back, and Mundo add the Ligue 1 winners have already tabled an offer of €28m plus €5m in variables to acquire Bellerín’s services.
There’s no mention if either the player or Arsenal have accepted PSG’s proposal.
