Fotomac report the latest name on Fenerbahce’s forward shortlist is Manchester City’s Lukas Nmecha.
The Turkish newspaper report Fenerbahce are interested in loaning the promising striker for a season and they’ve already tabled their offer with Manchester City.
According to Fotomac, Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu has personally called his former Barcelona teammate Pep Guardiola, which could lead to Nmecha heading to Istanbul in this transfer window. Cocu was recently installed as the Yellow Canaries’ new manager.
It’s claimed Guardiola is likely to allow Nmecha to join the Turkish side but the final decision will only be made at the end of Manchester City’s tour of the United States.
The 19-year old striker made just two appearances for Manchester City in the league last season but he impressed with 15 goals in just 11 Premier League 2 games. Fotomac have labelled the youngster a ‘goal machine’.
Nmecha still has three years left on his current Manchester City contract.
