Sabah claim Galatasaray are considering making a move for West Ham United forward Andy Carroll.
The Turkish club are looking for cheap options in the transfer market and they want to sign two strikers in January. Cim Bom have made it their priority to bolster their attacking options after losing last season’s top scorer Bafa Gomis in the summer.
According to Sabah, Carroll fits the profile for Galatasaray and the Turkish club are hoping to start talks with West Ham in the coming weeks.
The former Liverpool striker has overcome his latest injury problem and is now fit to play for West Ham. However, it seems Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini has other preferences over Carroll.
It’s claimed Galatasaray are hoping to land Carroll on a free transfer in the new year and they hope West Ham may accept this offer considering his contract will expire at the end of the season.
Carroll’s club teammate Javier Hernandez has also been linked with a move to Turkey in recent weeks after claims Besiktas are interested in the Mexican.
Injury to Marko Arnautovic may scupper Gala’s plans.
