It looks like Cedric Soares is still to convince Inter Milan whether they should sign him permanently or not at the end of the season.
Loaned by Southampton on a six-month spell, the player could stay in Italy in case the Nerazzurri activate the buying option of €11m.
Tuttosport has a story about Inter Milan’s market plans today, and claims that the amount set by the Saints is considered to be ‘big’ by the Italian side. So Cedric must impress to justify all that investment.
The newspaper says the player is still to ‘shine’, but hasn’t disappointed either, so there’s still time until the club make a decision.
Cedric Soares has made only five appearances for Inter Milan so far. Although he’s been recently benched in Serie A, he has started both Europa League clashes against Rapid Vienna.
In case Inter don’t sign him, there are other players joining the list, including Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian.
