Fotomac report Besiktas are set to open talks with Everton for their Croatian attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic.

The Everton player has been heavily linked with a move to Turkey in recent months and Fotomac claim the Black Eagles are ready to move in on him.

With Shinji Kagawa set to return to his parent club Borussia Dortmund following his loan spell in Istanbul, Besiktas are in the market for a player to replace the Japanese international and Vlasic is being targeted.

It’s reported Besiktas will look to loan the midfielder, and they are also hoping the Merseyside club will reduce the redemption clause.

Everton could be looking to sell Vlasic this summer but there’s a chance he could spend another season on loan if a permanent transfer doesn’t come off.

Vlasic spent last season on loan at CSKA Moscow and impressed with his performances. He is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2022.
