Torino look set for a huge windfall in the coming months with transfer deals for three of their players, including Pontus Jansson’s permanent move to Leeds United. The Swede will join Leeds United for a transfer fee in the region of €4m if a clause is activated by the end of the season.
Calciomercato have today reported Torino’s bank balance will be boosted by selling Jansson to Leeds United, but they will also cash in on Nikola Maksimovic and Bruno Peres. Maksimovic is currently on loan with Napoli, and Peres has been hired by AS Roma.
Like Torino’s agreement with Leeds United for Jansson, Roma must make Peres transfer permanent if the Brazilian plays a set number of games in this campaign, whilst Napoli have mandatory redemption on Maksimovic. If all three Tornio players are to leave by the end of the season the Serie A side stand to make nearly €40m in transfer fees.
Of the three Torino loanees Jansson is the likeliest to get his move first. The Sweden international signed for Leeds United on loan in the summer, with an agreement that if he plays twenty games he will become a permanent fixture at Elland Road.
The 25-year-old has become a regular in Garry Monk’s side since making his league debut last month, and looks certain to meet the criteria after already playing six games for the club.
