Much like an annoying itch or muscle twitch, Antonio Candreva to Chelsea refuses to go away, no matter how little movement there is.

For the past couple of weeks or so, all we’ve been getting from the Italian media is that Antonio Conte really likes the Inter winger, and could very well move for him to provide more depth to the right-hand side of his team.

That’s about it, really, yet Gazzetta dello Sport aren’t letting it go, warning their readers about the big bad Premier League money that could break up the Serie A side’s squad, as the Chelsea manager continues to try and seduce Candreva.

Much like their stance on Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, Inter have fixed a price for the 30-year-old, but fortunately for the Blues, it’s a lot lower than what they’re asking for for the Croatia international.

According to Gazzetta, Suning Holdings Group would be willing to let Candreva go for around €25m, which, in today’s market, isn’t all that expensive, especially considering he has three years left on his contract.

Of course, his age will come into it, but if Conte, who is a big fan of the Italian, really wants his man, Abramovich shouldn’t have too much trouble stumping up that pesky sum.

Still over three weeks of this left, folks.
