Fanatik report after a slow start to his Besiktas career, Liverpool loanee Loris Karius is now starting to regain his form.

During the last summer transfer window Karius was loaned to the Turkish club from Liverpool.

Karius was heavily criticised during his first few months in Turkey but it now seems the German goalkeeper is slowly finding his confidence.

The Liverpool player was the hero during Besiktas’ draw against Alanyaspor last weekend and his performance was praised by the club’s manager Senol Gunes.

According to Fanatik, Karius has finally established himself as the first choice goalkeeper for the Istanbul club, thanks to his new lifestyle.

When he first arrived in Turkey Karius was a talking point in gossip magazines but Fanatik say he’s become more careful in his personal life.

With the help of the club’s goalkeeping coach Marjan Mrmic, Karius’ performances have steadily improved and the Turkish newspaper reports Besiktas may consider activating his redemption clause.

Earlier this month it was suggested he could be sent back to Anfield after some poor performances for the Super Lig club.
