On deadline day, Jürgen Locadia and Wolves were involved in a transfer circus.
Claims came from the Netherlands of a €11m offer from Wolves, and it was even reported Locadia had been put through a medical by the Championship club.
Then, when it seemed just a matter of time before the announcement, it was reported PSV had cancelled the deal.
The club’s technical director Marcel Brands was said to have cancelled three last minute transfers, one of them being Locadia to Wolves.
Brighton & Hove Albion were also dragged into the rumours, and now it’s claimed they’ve agreed a transfer.
De Telegraaf report in their Friday edition that PSV have said ‘yes’ to the ‘millions of Brighton’.
As long as a medical is passed, Locadia will get his ‘dream’ of a move to the Premier League, and the deal is valued at €15-20m.
Special attention could be given to Locadia’s hamstring in the medical, which De Telegraaf say is happening today, with the striker currently being out of action injured.
