Fotospor report Trabzonspor board are unhappy following reports Crystal Palace are in transfer talks with RB Leipzig over Alexander Sörloth.
The Norwegian striker, who was the top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig last season with 24 goals, has been linked with a move to Bundesliga side, and it’s reported RB Leipzig are in negotiations with the south London club.
However, Fotospor claim Trabzonspor are upset about the situation, and that their president Ahmet Agaoglu believes the Eagles are doing this because they want the Super Lig side to pay his redemption clause earlier than planned.
As a part of the loan agreement, Trabzonspor can sign Sörloth for €6.5m and this is valid until the end of next season.
It’s also claimed Sörloth has told Agaoglu that he hasn’t held transfer talks with RB Leipzig as his agent is taking care of this. The Norwegian is said to have insisted he won’t leave the club unless there’s a situation which makes all parties happy.
Reports from Norway on Monday stated the player is in ‘final negotiations’ to join Julian Nagelsmann’s side, something else which won’t go down very well in Trabzon.
