There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor will make another attempt to sign Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill.
The 28 year old was linked with a move to the Super Lig side during the last transfer window following reports they’d reached an agreement with his agent over personal terms.
Sabah have reported on the latest developments regarding the Brownhill as he enters into the final months of his Burnley contract.
Earlier this year the Championship side activated their option to extend the player’s contract for another year, but at this stage the player will become a free agent next summer.
Brownhill recently went on record to say he’ll make a decision on his future at the end of the season.
Subsequently, Trabzonspor are again interested in the midfielder and could make a move for him during the January transfer window. The Trabzon club are looking to add to their midfield in the new year and the Burnley man is an option.
Trabzonspor could also discuss a pre-contract with Brownhill in January, with the possibility of signing him on a free in July.
