Sporx claim Besiktas will look to part ways with their central midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup at the end of the season, with Everton reportedly in the mix to sign the Turkey international.
It’s reported the Turkish club are unhappy with Ozyakup’s performances this season and he too has asked his agent to get him a move during this summer transfer window.
According to Sporx, Ozyakup’s agent is in talks with a number of clubs over a possible transfer, with one of those being Everton. Besiktas will be looking for offers approaching €7m for the former Arsenal player.
The Turkish media outlet also says Everton will face competition from Marseille, Lazio and Valencia to land Besiktas captain.
The 26 year old hasn’t started a game for Besiktas since November and has played just 28 minutes of league football in 2019.
Ozyakup is under contract with Besiktas until June 2022 and has been linked with a return to the Premier League in recent transfer windows.
