According to Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun, Besiktas will make another loan offer to Arsenal for Mohamed Elneny.
The Egyptian midfielder has been a key player for the Black Eagles this season and Suzgun claims the Turkish side will try to keep him at the club beyond the current campaign.
Previous reports from the Turkish media said Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin is a big fan of the 27 year old, and Elneny himself has suggested in past comments he would like to continue his career in the Turkish Super Lig.
However, Besiktas have a plan in mind if they can’t keep hold of the Arsenal loanee, with Basel’s Taulant Xhaka said to a possible option.
Suzgun notes there are other clubs who are interested in Basel midfielder but Besiktas will do everything they can in order to sign him if Elneny returns to Arsenal. Another issue they face is his wages, with recent reports they haven’t been paying them in full.
Elneny has made 28 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions this season and is under contract with Arsenal until June 2022.
