Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia continues to be a rumour in the Spanish press.
Today, it’s Plaza Deportiva who brings a story on the defender, saying the chances of him moving to the Premier League in the summer are pretty real.
The outlet says the 27-year-old ‘has a market’ in England, with Spurs being one of the clubs who’ve following him.
The claims are a mix of their own information with stories from the last week which said José Mourinho would be interested in the Frenchman, as he ‘likes his profile’.
The good news for Tottenham is that Valencia could accept to sell Kondogbia this summer. Plaza Deportiva says the La Liga side will ‘study’ all the interesting offers that come to the Mestalla at the end of the season.
Signed from Inter Milan in a €22m deal in 2018, Kondogbia has a contract running until 2022, and a release clause of €80m.
