Turkey’s Star say Fenerbahce, after a disastrous campaign, are looking to rebuild for next season and their first priority is signing an established striker.

According to the Turkish newspaper, Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is looking to sign a quality striker for next season after becoming frustrated with the likes of Islam Slimani and Michael Frey, with the Chelsea player seemingly an option for the Yellow Canaries.
The French striker hasn’t been a regular under Maurizio Sarri and he recently admitted he only gets a chance to play in the Europa League. However, a move back to France looks more likely at this stage rather than a transfer to the Super Lig.
The 32 year old has scored 10 goals for Chelsea this season, with 9 of those coming in the Europa League. He’s already hinted a return to French football could be on the agenda, and that doesn’t sound promising for any Fener chances.
