As Chelsea winger Robert Kenedy seems to be on his way back to Brazil, with there being only a few details left before the move is confirmed Flamengo.

According to journalist Venê Casagrande, club president Rodolfo Landim has already signed the documentation and it’s ‘all agreed’ for the player to move on a one-year loan deal.

He claims that only the official announcement is left, as the Rio de Janeiro side now rush to register the player for the Copa do Brasil semifinals, for which the deadline is next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, many other reports have been talking about the move and bringing a few more details.

Outlet Globo Esporte features a big story about the player today. They claim Kenedy is going through isolation in London following a Covid-19 infection, and even though that’ll delay his presentation, he should travel in the next week.

Flamengo are expected to make the announcement before that, as even the contract should be signed as soon as possible so he can be registered for the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals’ second leg, which will be played on September 15th. Metropoles says he’s ruled out for the first leg, which takes place on August 25th.

The Brazilian side are expected to have a buying option of €10m over the winger.
