One of the stories that refuses to go away permanently is that of Everton’s interest in Adrien Rabiot.
The midfielder is a well known entity to Carlo Ancelotti, who managed him at Paris Saint-Germain, giving him his debut and getting the best out of him, which his successors have failed to do.
Despite Rabiot finally finding some regular football under Andrea Pirlo at Juventus, the rumours have returned this season, and this summer could be the one where the pair are reunited, this time at Goodison Park.
There have already been numerous stories about this, with Tuttosport, relayed by JMania, ensuring that everyone remembers this is still a thing.
They state there is still a ‘pressing’ from Ancelotti’s Everton for the midfielder, and while Juventus are ‘prepared to listen to the offers from the English, they would have to be important’.
That’s because Pirlo is ‘happy’ with Rabiot’s output and would ideally like to keep him in his squad going forward.
There are no numbers attached to this, but previous reports suggested Juventus would be looking at a fee of around €25m or so for their man.
