Leeds United’s Kun Temenuzhkov came up through the ranks of Barcelona’s academy and after spending three years at La Masia, he left the La Liga winners for the Whites in 2017.
The 19-year-old was part of the Whites’ U23 side and Marcelo Bielsa handed him his first team debut in the Championship side’s third round FA Cup defeat to Queens Park Rangers in January 2019.
His future at Elland Road is coming to an end, if reports coming out of Spain are to be believed.
Local outlet Golsmedia claims Valencia based club CF La Nucía are interested in the young forward.
The Segunda División B side are planning to incorporate Temenuzhkov for the second half of the season and only a signature is missing for the deal to be made official. It’s claimed the Leeds player is travelling to Spain to sign the contract with La Nucía.
It’s to be noted no figures are mentioned in the report and there’s also no clarity if La Nucía are planning to sign Temenuzhkov on a loan deal or on a permanent transfer in the winter market.
