Juventus intention is to keep youngster Kenan Yildiz, unless they offer €40m for the striker’s signature.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the player is a name to keep an eye on as Arsenal eye him up and Juventus seek to raise money.
The newspaper explains that Juventus need to add to their midfield after losing Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli to long-term suspensions but to do so they need to find money from a definitive sale.
Full-back Samuel Illing-Junior is the obvious name and has suitors but Tuttosport warn to ‘pay attention’ to potential developments around Yildiz.
They believe that there could be a ‘possible negotiation’ with Arsenal over the youngster. At this moment in time the Bianconeri do not want to sell him but if the Gunners were to present an offer not too far from €40m, then the situation could change.
Yildiz, for his part, has made it clear to Juventus that he wants to move on after growing frustrated with a lack of playing time under Maximiliano Allegri to date.
He would presumably be very keen on a move to Arsenal then, although it is debatable how much football he would see given they have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their current centre-forward options.
That’s a debate for further down the line and at this moment the ball is in Arsenal’s court, if they put the right money on the table, then Juventus can be talked into a sale.
