Queen Park Rangers midfielder Sandro is currently in Antalya as the Brazilian midfielder edges closer to a move to Antalyaspor.
The 30-year old midfielder is at the Turkish side’s training camp with his agent to discuss his move to Turkey and both sides have reached an agreement claim TSpor.
However, Antalyaspor are moving carefully as the club’s physios are examining reports of the player’s injury record. A series of injuries have hampered Sandro’s career both at Tottenham and QPR, limiting him to just over 200 club games during his career.
Antalyaspor want to avoid the same thing happening to them and therefore want detailed medical reports.
Ian Holloway’s side are currently underachieving as they lie 17th place in the Championship table.
Sandro has only played 6 times for QPR this season and the West London side want him off the wage bill due to his high salary.
The midfielder joined QPR from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of €7.5million, but it’s reported Antalyaspor will sign the player on a free if he passes his medical.
