According to a claim in the Greek media, Olympiacos are again interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Joao Carvalho ahead of the summer transfer window.

Sdna.Gr report the Greek champions will be in the market to strengthen their squad, and they have identified Joao Carvalho as a potential target. With the Prospect of Champions League football next season the Greek giants will be looking to bring in new players.

Carvalho was heavily linked with a move to the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in January, but Sdna report the situation is now different, likely relating to finances, meaning Olympiacos could have a significant chance of signing the Forest

Signed from Benfica for €15m in 2018, the Portuguese attacking midfielder has been a regular part of Sabri Lamouchi’s side, who will likely to be in the playoffs for Premier League promotion.

The 23 year old has made 26 appearances for Nottingham Forest this season, scoring two goals. His contract at City Ground will expire at the end of June 2023.
