A couple of days ago, when the English press said a few Premier League clubs were after Alessio Romagnoli from AC Milan, there was a big noise in the Italian media about this chase.
But now that local outlets are going after the story, they’ve learned that the Rossoneri actually don’t have any plans to let the defender go anytime soon.
It’s Milan News who talks about it today, saying Milan ‘doesn’t listen and will not listen’ to the offers the clubs have for the 24-year-old.
The website takes claims which said Chelsea would spend €60m on the player, but then says ‘there’s no intention’ of accepting that amount for him.
It’s also said that Romagnoli, who’s recently become the team captain, wants to stay and be the club’s ‘new flag’. So for Chelsea to sign him, they would have to work to convince both the club and the player.
