Pushed to one side by Brendan Rodgers for a quite some time now, Dennis Praet isn’t exactly welcome at Leicester City these days.
He was loaned to Torino last season, where he did well when fit, which left the Serie A club with the desire to bring him back, but not for the €15m agreed in last year’s deal.
They were hoping to try and get a better price this summer, which they still might get, but that hasn’t happened just yet.
That doesn’t mean they aren’t working to get the Leicester City player back, though, as Gazzetta dello Sport state that the Serie A side ‘have never stopped weaving the web for Praet’s return’.
In fact, ‘intermediaries and diplomacy are at work’ to try and get something sorted, after the midfielder ‘put a like on Instagram to a comment of a fan who hopes for his return’.
Now, it’s up to Torino and Leicester to get something done, but whether they do or not is entirely up to Leicester, who still want a certain amount of money for the Belgian if they are to let him leave permanently in the coming week or so.
