Last month, Everton and West Ham United were mentioned as candidates to land Genoa’s Koni de Winter.
The suggestion was that the two clubs are ‘pushing’ to sign the defender, but Juventus can threaten their chase and can bring the Belgian back to Turin.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported on De Winter’s situation, revealing that Inter Milan are also keen on signing him.
The journalist states that some Premier League clubs have asked Genoa for information about the centre-back. While no names are mentioned, it can be safely assumed from previous reports that Everton and West Ham are potential suitors.
Inter’s move is currently in the initial stages but they have already made an enquiry about Genoa’s demands.
Further threat is provided by West Ham and Everton, with the report stating that De Winter was present at the San Siro last night to watch the Nerazzurri beat Barcelona in extra-time.
There have been indications in the past few weeks that the Rossoblu want a fee of €25m plus bonuses to sell their versatile defender and it remains to be seen if the price tag is the same for Inter.
