Tottenham Hotspur’s intention to cash in from Christian Eriksen’s sale in January hasn’t convinced the playmaker and his agent, reported FcInterNews on Friday.

It was also explained Inter Milan are in a ‘hurry’ to close the deal for the Denmark international and they have daily contacts with his representative, Martin Schoots.

Sky Italia now claims Schoots arrived in Italy and has already met the leaders of the Serie A side, during which the latter presented their offer.

The agent will present Inter’s proposal to the 27-year-old over the weekend and the Spurs player should respond to that before Tuesday.

Antonio Conte’s side are working on two fronts; to either sign the former Ajax man on a free transfer in summer or move for Eriksen in January. The second option will be considered if they fail to sign Arturo Vidal.

Vidal’s future at Barcelona is closely linked to that of Ernesto Valverde and if the manager is sacked, the Chilean will continue at the Camp Nou. Otherwise, he will push for a transfer.

This situation has forced Inter to be prepared, which is why they have moved quickly with Tottenham to find out their demands for Eriksen’s sale in the winter market.
