The Italian media continues to give big coverage to AC Milan’s hunt for Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga.
Now, it’s Calcio Mercato who feature a piece explaining why the 23-year-old is such a perfect target for the Rossoneri, who are convinced to get his signing done as quickly as possible.
The latest information brought by the outlet is that a meeting with Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is scheduled for this week. On Thursday, an encounter will serve to ‘unlock the deal’ between the two clubs.
The idea is to agree a season long loan, for which Milan would pay a fee. Then the Serie A giants will have a right to sign Tanganga permanently, with Spurs also having a clause to buy him back in the future.
Calcio Mercato claims Milan’s plan is to ‘close the deal quickly’, as the player ‘fits perfectly’ with the club’s plans. The Rossoneri had already asked for information on the defender back in January, and this time, they don’t want to miss out on the signing once again.
