Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Boubacar Traoré hasn’t featured regularly since joining them initially on loan from FC Metz in 2022. The Premier League club made his stay permanent in February 2023.
The midfielder picked up an injury in August and was sidelined until start of this year. He’s made one appearance under Vítor Pereira, and it came in Wolves’ FA Cup defeat to AFC Bournemouth at the weekend.
Traoré’s limited appearances this season doesn’t seem to have put off Feyenoord. According to Africa Foot, they have shown interest in securing his services in the summer window.
The report states the Eredivisie club have made contact with the 23-year-old. They are not alone as Fiorentina, Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and GNK Dinamo Zagreb are also interested in the Wolves player.
Robin van Persie’s side want to get ahead of the competition and to do this, they are considering tabling an offer as soon as the summer window opens.
The Mali international’s contract expires in 2027, and Wolves have an option to extend it for another year.
Africa Foot state the English club hope to retain him and their chances could increase if Pereira were to offer Traoré regular minutes from now until the end of the season.
