According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray will target Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic in the next transfer window.
The youngster is currently on a season long loan deal with German side Hertha BSC, where he’s impressed.
Fanatik today report Galatasaray are already looking to the summer with regards to recruitment and the Super Lig side will target the Liverpool player.
It’s claimed Faith Terim has given his approval in the club’s pursuit of the Serbian international and that contact will be made at the end of the season.
It’s not reported if they will approach his agent or Liverpool.
Galatasaray have reportedly been scouting Grujic for the past three years and his performances in the Bundesliga this season are seen as a positive for the Istanbul club side.
Grujic has made 15 league appearances for Hertha in this campaign and is contracted to Liverpool until June 2023.
Given his contract situation with Liverpool this would be an ambitious move by the Turkish champions and it’s very unlikely they would be able to sign him on a permanent deal.
