Milliyet report Besiktas officials have welcomed the latest developments regarding Nelson Oliveira’s future at Norwich City after the Championship club’s sporting director Stuart Webber admitted the Portuguese forward will be allowed to leave in the next transfer window.

According to Milliyet, the Turkish club are looking to bring in a striker in January and Oliveira is one of the players currently being monitored.

The Black Eagles have been also linked with West Ham United’s Javier Hernandez and Everton’s Cenk Tosun.

It’s claimed the Turkish club could now look to make a loan offer for Oliveria, with an option to buy the 27-year old.

Oliveira is currently out of the picture with the Championship club’s leaders and hasn’t made an appearance for the club this season. With Teemu Pukki’s goalscoring form in recent months the former Portugal international has struggled to get games.

Pukki has also been linked with a move to Turkey, with Galatasaray reportedly interested in the Finn.
