According to Greek newspaper SportDay, Olympiacos are interested in signing Nottingham Forest loanee Gil Dias in this window.

The Portuguese winger was loaned to the Championship club from AS Monaco at the start of the season but Sportday say the Greek giants have identified him as a potential target in the January transfer window.

Olympiacos are in the market for a creative winger to boost their title chances, with them currently sitting 2nd in the table, 8 points behind leaders PAOK after 14 games.

There’s no indication about Nottingham Forest’s stance over the player but considering they have the same owner in Vangelos Marinakis, a move to Greece could be a possibility.

However, it’s likely the Greek side will have to wait until Nottingham Forest appoint a new manager after Aitor Karanka left the club today.

The 22 year old has made 23 appearances for Nottingham Forest in all competitions this season but has scored just one goal.
