Fotospor report Trabzonspor are planning to make an offer for Nottingham Forest midfielder Joao Carvalho ahead of the next transfer window.
Carvalho has been linked with a move to the Super Lig side in the past week as they look to bolster their squad.
According to Fotospor, Trazbonspor see the Nottingham Forest player as a direct replacement for Yusuf Yazici, who they sold to Lille for €17m last summer.
It’s reported Karadeniz Firtinasi are planning to make an offer to Nottingham Forest for Carvalho, which would see them loan him until the end of next season, with a mandatory redemption clause.
Trabzonspor officials estimate the clause for the Portuguese attacking midfielder will be around €10m.
However, considering Sabri Lamouchi’s side have a good chance of getting promotion to the Premier League it may be unlikely they’ll sell in the new year, despite Carvalho’s lack of games this season.
Nottingham Forest are currently fifth in the Championship and will feel they have a good chance of a play-off place.
