The Turin press remain very confident that Chelsea can find a deal for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani this summer.
Newspaper Tuttosport brings another story on the situation today, claiming that although the player is considered a secondary target after the Blues sign Gonzalo Higuain, he’s also a simpler case.
It’s claimed that with Chelsea ready to spend €45m on Rugani, Juventus are unlikely to be awkward about accepting the offer.
The defender is a personal request from Maurizio Sarri, who had previously worked with him at Empoli and now wants him by his side at the Stamford Bridge.
Previous reports from Tuttosport have claimed that Chelsea can pay Rugani twice what he earns at Juventus, so a personal agreement shouldn’t be a problem.
The newspaper considers Rugani to be a replacement for David Luiz. They say that just like Antonio Conte, the Brazilian should be leaving London this summer.
