Turkey’s Haberturk report Besiktas striker Alvaro Negredo is drawing attention from Cardiff City, and the Istanbul club are ready to sell the player.
Negredo has failed to deliver for Besiktas after joining from Valencia last season, and the Spaniard only managed to score 7 league goals.
The Turkish club are subsequently looking to part ways with the striker but Negredo is not willing to terminate a contract from which he will earn €4.2m this season.
Haberturk said Besiktas officials now have some sort of hope to offload Negredo as Cardiff City are set to make the €3m offer to sign the player.
It’s reported Cardiff City are targeting Negredo mainly because of his experience in the Premier League, after the 32 year old’s spells with Manchester City and Middlesbrough.
Haberturk claim Besiktas are likely to accept a €3m offer from Cardiff City as they are looking to offload him as soon as possible.
