Currently in the process of restructuring what goes on behind the scenes themselves, Manchester United have just lost one of their highly-rated scouts to Anderlecht.
With the Red Devils since last year, Bjarne Hansen decided to team up with Frank Arnesen once more instead of continuing at Old Trafford, having previously worked with the Dane at PSV, Chelsea and Hamburg.
The scout was the one behind the Andreas Christensen signing at Stamford Bridge and invited Christian Eriksen to hold three separate trials with the Blues when he was 16, only for the Premier League side to pass on signing the now Tottenham star.
DH are the ones with the information, explaining that Arnesen is trying to surround himself with great scouts ahead of the summer window to rectify the club’s rather dire situation (currently 6th in Jupiler Pro League) starting with the now ex-Manchester United man.
Much like the Red Devils, Anderlecht are trying to modernise their approach, previously ‘blindly following agents’ instead of using their scouting network to sign players.
