According to Greek website Sdna, Olympiacos are still targeting Liverpool left-back Yasser Larouci, but it looks more likely they’ll sign Nottingham Forest’s Yuri Ribeiro.
After selling Kostas Tsimikas to Liverpool earlier this summer, the Greek giants are also close to parting ways with Leonarda Koutris, who is in advanced talks to join German side Fortuna Dusseldorf on a loan deal.
Subsequently, the Erythrolefki are in the market for a left-back, and Liverpool’s Larouci and Forest’s Ribeiro are said to be options.
However, given his age and lack of first-team football experience, Sdna say Larouci isn’t their first choice and that Riberio is their ‘chosen one’
Riberio joined Sabri Lamouchi’s side from Benfica in 2019 and has established himself as a key member of the team. Since joining the Championship club, the 23 year old has made 33 appearances and provided three assists.
Larouci is also likely to leave Liverpool this summer and the Premier League champions could be looking to sell him in this window given he’s entered the final year of his contract.
