Turkish website Asist Analiz claim Besiktas have reached an agreement with Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina.
The Gabonese international has also been linked with a return to Galatasaray after his loan spell there last season, but Asist Analiz report he has now agreed to sign for their rivals Besiktas.
It’s reported Besiktas have convinced Southampton to loan Lemina to them, and the 26 year old will earn €1.3m next season with the Super Lig side.
Asist Analiz add Lemina said yes to Besiktas in the first meeting, and official confirmation of the transfer is expected in the near future.
After snatching former Atletico Madrid player Bernard Mensah from Galatasaray’s hands, Asist Analiz say loaning Lemina is the second ‘goal’ for the Black Eagles.
Lemina made 28 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions last season and scored one goal.
His contract at St. Mary’s will expire at the end of June 2022, but after falling out favour during the 2018/19 season it seems he doesn’t have a future with the Saints.
