Takvim report Besiktas have found an agreement with Arsenal to sign David Ospina, and the Colombian goalkeeper is now expected to join the Turkish club on loan.

According to Takvim, Besiktas have offered a €1.5m loan fee to Arsenal and this has been accepted by the Premier League side.

We covered reports last week that Ospina is a prime target for Besiktas after they sold their former No.1 Fabri to Fulham for €6m. Besiktas have also been linked with a move for Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet in the past week.

It’s also claimed Besiktas were in talks with Bursaspor goalkeeper Harun Tekin as an alternative to Ospina but, after Bursaspor demanded €3m, Besiktas have distanced themselves.

Besiktas now need to convince Ospina over a move to Istanbul, and talks with the player are set to continue over the course of this week with regards to personal terms.

Ospina still has two years left on his Arsenal contract but is expected the leave the club following the arrival of Bernd Leno this summer.
