Last dealing with Percy Tau a week or so ago, there’s been a couple of updates around the world regarding the Brighton & Hove Albion player of late.
A report from Het Laatste Nieuws on July 19th stated Club Brugge were negotiating with the Seagulls for the South Africa international, and talks were heading in the right direction.
Fast forward four days, and Sacha Tavolieri, who deals with Belgian football and appeared on RMC Sport in the past, is confirming an agreement between the two clubs for the player’s loan.
It will be a dry loan, meaning there will be no view to buy for Club Brugge, as Tony Bloom was against a permanent exit for the 25-year-old.

All that’s left for the deal to go through is a European visa for Tau, who shouldn’t have too many problems in getting one seeing as he already spent last season on loan in Belgium.
He was sent for the 2018/19 campaign to Royal Union Saint Gilloise in the country’s second division, where he scored 13 goals and assisted teammates 13 times in 35 appearances in all competitions.
If this deal to Brugge goes through, he will finally get to taste the country’s elite, where big expectations will be placed upon him as the club target a title challenge for the upcoming season.
