Emer Can has seen his minutes limited at Juventus and Maurizio Sarri even left him out of the Champions League squad this season.
Two days ago, Tuttosport reported Everton and Manchester United ‘seem willing’ to sign the midfielder in the winter market.
Gazzetta Dello Sport explained on Thursday the Serie A winners would ‘gladly’ sell the Germany international in January, who is also wanted by Borussia Dortmund.
Calciomercato also echoes claims made by Gazzetta and they state Sarri’s stance on the former Liverpool man hasn’t changed.
The website talks about a proposal from Carlo Ancelotti’s side, they claim the one ‘right offer’ received by the Turin club is from the Toffees.
It’s believed to be between €30m and €35m, including bonuses.
Given Everton are thought to have a limited budget this month, it’s hard to believe they’ve bid so much for Can.
Juventus are ‘fine with’ Everton’s supposed offer, but Can isn’t. It’s claimed he’s still grateful for his time with Liverpool and doesn’t want to join their derby rivals, Everton.
Dortmund are ready to launch a decisive attack for Can and Juve could be forced to accept their offer, which will be lower than what Everton proposed.
However, it’s worth noting there’s not much in Germany about Dortmund interest in Can.
