Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat already has an agreement in place with Manchester United and is now waiting for them to make an official bid for him.

That’s according to La Repubblica, relayed by Fiorentina.it, who say a deal for the Moroccan can be finalised at €25m plus bonuses but Manchester United are yet to offer it.

Earlier today we covered reports from Italy that stated Amrabat will happily fly to England to complete his move to Old Trafford as soon as possible, having stayed behind in Italy while Fiorentina travel to the UK during pre-season.

Both newspapers made it clear he was holding out for United as that’s the move he really wants, and Fiorentina are happy to sell him for €25-30m.

La Repubblica pick up on that and explain that all Manchester United need to do is make an official bid for the player to get things going.

They state that we are in the ‘really hot days’ in regard to Amrabat’s future, with Manchester United still ‘in the front row’ for him.

They’ve already reached an agreement with the player on his contract at Old Trafford, meaning a major hurdle has already been cleared.

Now they need to make a bid, with Fiorentina expecting a formal bid in the region of €25m plus bonuses. They expect an ‘acceleration soon’ on that front, presumably after seeing that United have now completed the signing of Rasmus Hojlund.

That means they can now focus all of their efforts on Amrabat, a deal which on the face of it seems rather easy to get over the line.
