Over the past three weeks, multiple reports coming out of Spain have discussed Tottenham Hotspur interest in Carles Aleñá.
Two days ago, we carried a report from Calciomercato, who explained that AC Milan have shown interest in recent days.
It was also explained Spurs are aware of the competition they will face from the Serie A side for the midfielder.
Mundo Deportivo journalist Miguel Rico has been regularly reporting about the 21-year-old and now brings an update on the back page of today’s newspaper.
He claims Aleñá’s agent Iván de la Peña has at least two offers from the Premier League, which Barcelona are aware of. One of them is from Mauricio Pochettino’s side, which the Camp Nou side also does not deny.
However, Rico states Milan are ‘not an option’ as they are not on the list of suitors for the Spaniard.
With the Milan option now being ruled out, it should come as encouragement for Tottenham, but at the same time, they will face competition from an unnamed Premier League club for Aleñá.
