Coming back off an interesting second half performance against Manchester City in the Premier League, Paul Pogba made sure his club’s rivals didn’t celebrate their Premier League win on Sunday.
Merely delaying the inevitable, the Manchester United midfielder scored two goals to bring the game back to 2-2 after his team were rolled over in the first half, a day or so after Pep Guardiola revealed he was offered the France international in January.
While Manchester City aren’t going to get Pogba anytime soon, another club is thinking about potentially making a move, or, at least, mentioning his name within the club.
That team is Paris Saint-Germain, according to the unavoidable Paris United, who will be under great scrutiny during the upcoming transfer window after their great summer of exclusive news last time around.
While the Ligue 1 leaders aren’t quite planning a transfer, they have, as mentioned above, discussed his name, especially since Manchester United are said ‘to be open to an exit in case they receive a “reasonable” offer’ for the 25-year-old.
Paris Saint-Germain’s dressing room has also apparently discussed the idea of Paul Pogba coming to the French capital, and aren’t against the idea.
A lot needs to happen before this transfer ever takes place, though, and until something more concrete comes along than just “discussions within the club”, we wouldn’t worry too much.
